Valve Chamber Design, Supply and Installation
Service includes the designing of the most efficient and effective valve chamber configuration and the supply and installation of every component within a valve chamber

Pressure Reducing Valves
Mains water pressure throughout South Africa varies dramatically. The average supply pressure is 3 bar during the day and considerably higher at night in most areas. These areas would benefit from the use of pressure reducing valves.

The majority of water pipe infrastructure is ageing at a considerable rate mainly due to the conditions they operate under. Metallic pipework that is buried is subject to corrosion attack from moisture, aggressive soils and stress from surrounding ground conditions. Plastic pipes in turn are subjected to cyclic failure due to surges.

Pressure Management has become a major part of extracting the maximum value our of exisiting infrastructure.

One of RARE Water Engineering Services’ is the installation of pressure reducing valve to relieve pressure inside the pipework and extend the working life until a time when renewal is the only option.

Water Meter Installations
Water meters are an important component of a water distribution system. Many households, and business that are is connected to the distribution system is equipped with a water meter to track water usage, and to ensure that customers are being billed only for the water their systems use.

RARE Water Engineering Services maintain, test and install new meters nationally. In an effort to reduce the costs of meter reading and maintenance, RARE Water Engineering Services have initiated several programs to improve the efficiency of these meters and reduce replacement costs.

Air Valve Chambers
Air Valves are often grossly oversized or overspecified. RARE Water Engineering Services provide assistance with selecting the most economical number of air valves in relation to the application. The company will also supply and install all required components to be utilised in the chamber.

Control Valves Chambers
RARE Water Engineering Services designs and constructs the most effcient Control Valve Stations relevant to application ensuring components are easily accessed, isolated and replaced if necessary.
