RARE Holdings is today celebrating the successful listing of the company on the Alt-X exchange of the JSE. The listing was intended to raise R37.5 million through a private placement at an issue price of 200 cents per share, resulting in an expected market capitalisation of R177.7 million on listing at the issue price. Interest in the company was so high that the listing was in fact oversubscribed six times. Initial trading in the share pushed the price up to as much 330c, before settling at 290c.
