RARE Chemical is involved in a unique pipe rehabilitation project for Anglogold Ashanti- Obuasi Mine in Ghana comprised of a 4,5km tailing lines. The work was undertaken by the "Wentzel Crew"  namely Bennie, Remerius, Lucas, John, Isaac, Jaco and Frans for a duration of 150 days under extreme working conditions including rain, swamps, snakes, mosquitoes to mention a few obstacles our brave team encountered.

 

The pipeline was commissioned and operational on the 01 December 2007 leak free and without any downtime to date.
