Rare Chemical just recently completed a multi million Rand project for De Beers on their new Macro Diamond Plant Laboratory project. Project manager, Raymond Bull states that the most remarkable aspect of the project was Rare Chemical's outstanding safety record. The project was completed in 206 687 hours, accident free which is exceptional for a project of this nature. Some interesting statistics on the project are;the installation of 18 tons of glass, 2 tons of aluminium and 1.78 tons of polypropylene. In addition, RARE Chemical also supplied lab equipment, piping scrubbers and drainage pipe. |
